Biography

During the war of Extermination Lord Richard was pressured by Pedigran Lagrest to sail his fleet to Issaeos and launch a full invasion on the Enduare's.  Richard, as a the dutiful Lord of Adelphia, prepared his ships to set sail, but while he was conciliating his forces Richard was approached by Ser Daerunt Danford Commander of the Royal Knights.  Daerunt swayed Richard to the cause of the Mages, convincing him that the Lagrest Dynasty was coming to end.  He told him "a new current pushes the waves, do you go with that current or crash and sink against it?".  Richard decided to go with the current and when the King sent for him to launch his fleet, Richard ignored the Kings request and instead prepared Adelphia's defenses, as per Daerunt's orders.  After Daerunt murdered Pedigran and wiped out the Lagrest line, Richard made his way to Stallworth the pledge fealty  the Daerunt.
