The Snow

Falling falling mystery
Beautiful but cold
Falling falling down on me
And never getting old


Shrouded in your chilling warmth
For but a brief time
Brushing you off back and forth
Keeping you as mine


But the snow can never last
For powder is no friend
To remain within our past
Always knowing it will end
